When you think of outdoor swimming Northumberland may not be the first place that comes to mind but in the heart of 'Hadrian Wall Country,' there is Haltwhistle Swimming and Leisure Centre.
They have 3 outdoor heated pools providing a fun day out for all the family.
Your entry fee allows you unlimited all-day use of the pools, adventure play area and picnic area.

They have 3 outdoor pools which open in mid April and close in early September. These include a 25 metre pool, learner pool and paddling pool with fun toys for toddlers and babies.

All of their pools are heated and are constantly supervised by qualified lifeguards at all times.
​
There is also a giant flume which operates at regular intervals during the day during public sessions.
