Caribe Coffee

Caribe Coffee was founded in 2018 by couple Wilmer and Ellie Carcamo, of Fairmoor, near Morpeth.

The business was born out of a love of quality coffee and a vision to improve the coffee we drink at home and in independent cafés. Wilmer, originally from Honduras, draws on his heritage and family connections to coffee farming to create a brand that sells excellent coffee and shares the story of how speciality coffee can benefit farmers.

Initially Caribe Coffee operated as a wholesale supplier. Over time the business shifted to direct retail through markets and food fairs. More recently it has broadened its online presence and now offers subscriptions, a wide range of single-estate Honduran beans and free UK delivery of its freshly roasted coffee.

Social media also plays a key role in the business, helping Caribe Coffee build customer trust and community support. Customers consistently rate the company highly and appreciate its ethical sourcing model.
